Asia Cup 2023: IND vs PAK Matches Dates Have Been Finally Announced-TGN

The Asia Cup 2023 will be a bumper event for the fans of Team India and Pakistan. The fans could witness not one, not two, but potentially three clashes between India and Pakistan in this year’s continental event. This will serve as a preparatory tournament for the biggest clash of the year later on: in World Cup 2023.

Last month, the Asian Cricket Council, headed by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, announced the schedule for this year’s Asia Cup, which will be the 16th edition of the continental tournament.

Although Pakistan are the official hosts of the Asia Cup 2023, 9 out of the 13 matches in this tournament will be played in Sri Lanka because India have been given clearance to travel to Pakistan.

The Asia Cup 2023 will be played in a hybrid-model across 4 cities in Pakistan and Sri Lanka: Multan, Lahore, Colombo, and Kandy.

The tournament will get underway on August 30 with Pakistan hosting Nepal in Multan.

Dates for India vs Pakistan matches in Asia Cup 2023:

The much-awaited India vs Pakistan Group A match in the Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled for September 2 in Kandy.

If both teams make into Super 4, which they are expected to do by knocking out Nepal, they will meet in Super 4 on September 10 in Colombo. Should India and Pakistan finish in top 2 in Super 4, the arch-rivals would then collide again in the Final, on September 17 in Colombo.

Therefore, there could be 3 India vs Pakistan matches in the Asia Cup 2023.
