With powerful evil forces now after him, Jamie will transform into the superhero Blue Beetle to protect himself, the scarab, the ones he loves, and the world.

In the comics, Jamie Reyes is the third Blue Beetle after Dan Garrett and Ted Kord. The latter will likely be a part of the movie, with Susan Sarandon playing Victoria Kord, Ted’s sister, and Bruna Marquezine playing Jenny Kord.
