Breaking Bad Characters Become Professional Muay Thai Fighters In AI Video-TGN

Summary

  • A large part of Breaking Bad’s success can be attributed to its well-crafted and compelling characters, who were brought to life by a talented cast.

  • A new AI-generated video re-imagines three of these characters – Bryan Cranston’s Walt, Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus, and Bob Odenkirk’s Saul – as Muay Thai fighters.

  • The high quality of Breaking Bad, along with spin-off projects like El Camino and Better Call Saul, have contributed to the lasting impact of the show and the continued prevalence of its characters in popular culture.

Breaking Bad characters become ripped Muay Thai fighters in a bizarre but compelling AI-generated video. Created by Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad first aired on AMC in 2008. The crime drama stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a terminally ill high school teacher who turns to cooking meth to support his family. Breaking Bad ran for 5 acclaimed seasons, coming to an end in 2013, but the world of the show has lived on in projects like El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and Better Call Saul.

Now, a new AI-generated video shared by Yurii Yeltsov on Instagram imagines what key Breaking Bad characters would look like as Muay Thai fighters. Check out the video below:

The video features Walt, Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring, and Bob Odenkirk’s Saul Goodman, all very muscular, throwing punches in a Muay Thai ring.

Breaking Bad Characters Made The Show Great

Boiling down the success of Breaking Bad to only one element is, of course, impossible, but the characters in any story are crucial to getting audiences on board. Gilligan and the show’s team of writers crafted a complex, highly flawed, but still compelling protagonist with Walt, surrounding him with an array of fully fleshed out and interesting supporting characters.

The likes of Walt, Jesse (Aaron Paul), Hank (Dean Norris), Gus, and Mike (Jonathan Banks), among others, while owing much to the writers, are also a product of strong performances from the Breaking Bad cast. The actors made these characters their own over the course of the show’s multiple seasons, making even villains like Gus highly watchable. Although Breaking Bad ended a full 10 years ago, many of the actors involved are still best known for their characters on it, despite the other roles they have since taken on.

Widely regarded as one of the best TV show finales of all time, the Breaking Bad finale sends Walt, Jesse, and others out with a bang. Goodwill built up over the course of a show’s lifetime can all be lost if the finale doesn’t deliver, but the final note for the series ensured that the story and its characters would live on. The strong Breaking Bad finale is also cemented by projects like El Camino and Better Call Saul, further speaking to why characters like Walt, Gus, Saul, and others remain iconic figures so many years later.
