Brendon McCullum Bought House In $750 million Project With 9-Hole Golf Course-TGN

Yes, you read the $750 million in the title correctly. England Test head coach Brendon McCullum is now an owner of a house in perhaps the most expensive ever project in New Zealand’s real estate history.

Even before taking up the role as England’s Test head coach last year, Brendon McCullum had booked a luxurious house in the Gibbston Valley in a project that is worth $750 million.

During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, while most of the world was in a slump and standstill, Brendon McCullum was told of a massive opportunity to buy himself a property in a historic $750 million luxury project in the picturesque Queenstown, a famous town in South Island, New Zealand. This magnificent project is located on the 40-hectare Gibbston Valley Station.

The key attraction for Brendon McCullum in this project was a Nine-Hole Gold Course. Apart from cricket, McCullum, like many retired New Zealand, England, and Australian cricketers, has a great interest in golf.

After much consideration, Brendon McCullum decided to fork out a hefty sum to book a house in this gigantic project. It is reported that the value of each house in this $750 million range from $1.2 million to $4 million.

The high-profile, multi-offering project includes a country club, spa, wellness center, restaurant, gym, and a village with artisan shops, cafes, and a garden center. There are two, three, and four-bedroom properties in the location. The early buyers also got exclusive perks like a personalized wine label and their own area in the wine cave.

Brendon McCullum invited England players to play golf in New Zealand last year

18 months after signing a house in this grandiose property, Brendon McCullum, who became England’s Test head coach in early 2022, invited the Englandp players for a Golf and Adventure Camp in his new property where the Nine-Hole golf course was the center attraction.

England had started wonderfully under Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes, swiping New Zealand 3-0 and defeating India in the Edgbaston Test in the 2022 home summer. In the break after, the England players traveled to McCullum’s new property to have some fun with the media prohibited from this personal avenue.

Under McCullum England recently drew the Ashes 2023 series against Australia 2-2, after being 0-2 down. Rain denied England the opportunity to win the 4th Test in Manchester.

Brendon McCullum and England Test team’s next challenge, and perhaps their toughest one, will be in India next year.
