“SKY Is My Dad”: Cameron Green’s Old Video Went Viral After Suryakumar Yadav’s Powerful Knock-TGN

Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav set the stage on fire in the second ODI against Australia at Indore’s Holkar Stadium. SKY was at his blistering best against Australia as he smashed four back-to-back sixes off his Mumbai Indians teammate Cameron Green in the 2nd ODI match at Indore.

SKY smashed 4 back-to-back fours

The four consecutive sixes came in the 44th over of the Indian innings when Green came in to bowl. Sky welcomed his MI teammate with a huge six off his very first ball with a stunning pick-up shot. The next ball also got the same treatment as SKY opted for a fine scoop shot which went over the boundary.

In the 3rd ball, Surya smashed the delivery over deep extra cover for six more before ending the onslaught with another six which he flocked over deep midwicket as the helpless Cameron Green looked on. The last two balls of Green’s over went for 2 runs and the total runs from it amounted to 26.

Cameron Green’s Old Video Went Viral After Suryakumar Yadav’s Powerful Knock

Meanwhile, an old video of Cameron Green has resurfaced on social media after SKY’s destructive knock. The video is from Green’s IPL days, where he could be heard saying ‘Sky is my Dad’. The statement came during the promotional event during the IPL 2023 when both SKY and Green played for Mumbai Indians in the league.

This was SKY’s second consecutive fifty in the ongoing ODI series against Australia. In the first match, SKY In the first ODI, SKY smashed a brilliant fifty off 49 runs, smashing 5 fours and 1 six. In the second ODI, he played a stellar knock of 72 runs off just 37 balls, smashing 6 sixes and as many fours. With two back-to-back destructive knocks, it won’t be wrong to say that Suryakumar Yadav has finally arrived in the One Day International format of the game.
