Dylan Mulvaney debuts the bleached-blonde hair transformation — this time for real -TGN

TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney debuted brand new blonde hair after revealing her previous platinum look was a wig.

The trans influencer has been at the center of a bigoted firestorm ever since she received a personalized can of beer from Bud Light to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her “Days of Girlhood” TikTok series, documenting her public transition.

While Mulvaney began collaborating with mega brands, including Nike and Maybelline, right-wingers absolutely couldn’t handle it.

Mulvaney has since spoken out about the toll the backlash took on her, choosing to step back from posting regularly on social media due to intense transphobic abuse. She described the response to her Bud Light video as “more bullying and transphobia than I could have ever imagined”.

The actor and influencer shared with her 10.7 million TikTok followers on Wednesday (July 12) that she took a trip to Peru because she “needed to feel safe” — something she couldn’t do in the US.

However, upon her return, Mulvaney unveiled a dramatic hair transformation in a video that left fans gagging.

In a movie posted on Instagram and TikTok, the influencer can be seen flipping her auburn locks for a haircut to a brand new peroxide blonde haircut, remixed by Marina’s 2012 hit “Primadonna”.

Although Mulvaney has had blonde hair on and off since early June, she confirmed that her previous bleached-out look could have been made possible with an excellent wig.

Now she serves us a wavy blonde bob with a center parting, following in the footsteps of Margot Robbie around the Oscars 2018, via 50s icons Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield, with a dose of Factory girl thrown in for good order.

Mulvaney completed her look with Cleopatra eyeliner and a sheer nude and black striped dress, which she debuted Thursday (July 13) at the opening gala of the Los Angeles Outfest film festival at the Orpheum Theater.

Fans flocked to the comments to admire the influencer’s stunning hair transformation, calling her new look “stunning”, “iconic” and “perfection”, proclaiming that “Dylan ate like always”.

There were plenty of timely ones Barbie references, with one fan writing: “Just in time for the Barbie movie” and another message: “This Barbie is beautiful.” Another fan simply wrote: “WE ALL NEED TO BUILD.”
