Foundation season 2, episode 4 airs Friday on Apple TV, and Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from “Where the Stars Are Scattered Thinly.” The sci-fi show is based on the award-winning novels of Isaac Asimov, which follow a band of exiles who seek to save humanity and rebuild civilization when the evil Galactic Empire falls. David S. Goyer adapts the story for television, and season 2 currently enjoys a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season 2 of Foundation takes place over a century after the finale, and the Cleons who rule the Empire are more disorganized than ever as Queen Sareth of Cloud Dominion plans her revenge against them. Psychohistory itself, meanwhile, is at risk even as Hari’s Foundation has successfully planted the seeds of the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach. The fate of the Empire hangs in the balance as the Second Crisis approaches, and the star-studded cast swells to welcome the likes of Ella-Rae Smith, Ben Daniels, and Dimitri Leonidas.

“Where the Stars Are Scattered Thinly” will also see Queen Sareth and Dawn bond, even as she attempts to use him to learn more about Day. Hober Mallow, who is a vital character to the Foundation lore in Asimov’s novels, is brought to Terminus in the meantime. Gaal and Salvor must also travel toward the second Foundation while Hari begins to settle into his new body.

Foundation stars Jared Harris as Hari Seldon, Lee Pace as Brother Day, Leah Harvey as Salvor Hardin, Lou Llobell as Gaal Dornick, Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn, and Laura Birn as Demerzel. The supporting cast is equally expansive, especially as the story builds to a climax in season 2 over the course of 10 episodes.
