This particular iteration also features a brand-new color scheme, tying it not only to the Republic Core World of Coruscant but also to Chancellor Palpatine himself.

Revealed by the LEGO Group (and subsequently reported via BrickFanatics), Coruscant Guard Gunship (75354) will consist of 1,083 pieces and is set to release on September 1. With a price tag of $139.99 in the US, the unique red-and-white gunship and its fully-closing bay doors will also come with 5 unique minifigures (Padmé Amidala, Chancellor Palpatine, Clone Commander Fox, and two Coruscant Guard Clone Troopers). LEGO’s Coruscant Gunship Brings A New Spin To A Classic Set

The red color is a very creative re-imagining of the classic Republic Gunship’s predominantly white design. Likewise, the inclusion of Padmé and Chancellor Palpatine in his official robes makes for a very coveted LEGO set beyond the vehicle itself. Stationed as a key security force for the Republic Core World, the Coruscant clone troopers were the first to directly serve under Palpatine during the rise of his Empire as seen in Revenge of the Sith.

For LEGO Star Wars collectors who didn’t have enough in their wallets for the much larger (and more expensive) UCS Republic Gunship LEGO set which was released in 2021, the Coruscant Guard Gunship (75354) is a great alternative. It’s also something a little more unique compared to the traditional color scheme. With any luck, this new Star Wars set will be the first of a series of alternate Republic Gunships, allowing LEGO collectors to pick and choose based on their favorite Clone Legion.
