Will Pat Cummins play in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023? Australia’s one-day captain, recently sidelined with a fractured wrist, is racing against the clock. Despite this setback, the 6-week recovery period should enable him to participate in some of the ODIs in South Africa and India, setting the stage for the World Cup in October.

Cummins, relatively new to his captaincy, sustained the injury during the final Ashes Test. Consequently, he’ll miss the three-match T20I series against South Africa beginning on August 30, creating uncertainty in the lead-up to the subsequent five-match ODI series.
