Hasbro’s Largest Starship Ever Is Already Fully Funded – Less Than A Week After Announcement-TGN

Summary

  • Hasbro’s largest Star Wars starship model, the HasLab Ghost, has met its funding goal in less than a week after being announced.

  • Three unlockable tiers have been announced for backers: models of Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, Jedi Master Kanan Jarrus, and Lasat warrior Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, if certain thresholds of backers are met.

  • The launch of the Ghost model is perfectly timed with the upcoming Ahsoka Disney+ TV show, and the Hasbro team has closely coordinated with Lucasfilm to ensure accuracy to the on-screen version, making it a highly sought-after Star Wars model.

Hasbro’s largest Star Wars starship model ever, the HasLab Ghost, is fully funded less than a week after it was announced. Introduced in Star Wars Rebels, the Ghost has become one of the most iconic starships in the entire Star Wars franchise. At San Diego Comic Con 2023, Hasbro announced the Ghost as their latest HasLab project. Clocking in at an amazing 28″ (71cm) width, 34.5″ (87.5cm) length, and 13″ (33cm) height, the Ghost can be ordered for $499.99.

Incredibly, the Ghost has met its initial target of 8,000 backers within just a week of announcement. This means backers will indeed receive the Star Wars Vintage Collection Ghost, along with a carded 3.75-Inch model of Twi’lek rebel leader Hera Syndulla as pilot. The exciting question, though, is whether the Ghost will meet its tiers – which seems extremely likely.

What Tiers Are Available For Hasbro’s Ghost?

Hasbro has announced three further unlockable tiers, which will give backers most of the cast of Star Wars Rebels too. If a threshold of 11,000 backers is passed, then collectors will also receive a carded 3.75-Inch model of Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger. 14,000 backers means collectors receive his Jedi Master, Kanan Jarrus; a final tier of 17,000 unlocks Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, the Lasat warrior who serves among the Ghost crew.

It always seemed highly likely the Ghost would pass its tiers, simply because it’s a stunning and desirable model that would feel incomplete without the full Ghost crew. The launch of this particular HasLab project is perfectly timed, because the Ghost is making its way into live-action in the upcoming Ahsoka Disney+ TV show. In fact, the Hasbro team who worked on the Ghost have coordinated closely with Lucasfilm on the project, ensuring it corresponds with the version viewers will soon see on-screen. All these factors make the Ghost an unmissable Star Wars model – so it seems highly likely it will blast past all its tiers too.
