Stranger Things and Fast & Furious 11 are two of the titles that are highest on the slate of priority titles for studios coming out of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. The strike, which saw Hollywood writers putting down pencils for 148 days, ran from May 2 through September 27. The issues at the core of the strike included fair compensation, regulation of AI, and streaming residuals, and now that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), writers can go back to work.

Per a report from Variety, various studios have certain projects they want to prioritize writing as they wait for the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) strike to come to an end as well and allow production to resume. For Netflix, those titles include Stranger Things season 5 and Wednesday season 2. Over at Universal, Fast & Furious 11 is the highest priority, as the upcoming movie is an important piece of the multi-part finale of the action blockbuster franchise.
