Ticket Prices For World Cup 2023 Revealed-TGN

The BCCI is set to announce the revised schedule for the World Cup 2023, after dates of a few matches have been changed due to various reasons. After the revised schedule is officially announced by the BCCI and the ICC, the tickets will go online for the fans to claim it.

Last week, the BCCI met with the state associations of all 10 World Cup venues to discuss multiple topics, one being the prices of the tickets. The BCCI gave a green signal to all 10 state associations to decide their own venue tickets for the showpiece event.

The Central Association of Bengal (CAB) was the first one to publically announce their prices for tickets for the Eden Gardens game; this premature announcement of ticket prices by the CAB, however, was met with anger from the BCCI officials as the World Cup schedule is not yet finalized and is about to go a few tweaks.

Ticket prices for World Cup 2023 India matches to go up to INR 50k

It has been learned the ticket prices for India matches will range from INR 500 to INR 50,000 while for non-India games, it could go up to INR 10,000.

Of course, the prices will also depend on the venue, the state association and the stature of the match. Such as, the India-Pakistan encounter in Ahmedabad will see ticket prices go even higher than INR 50k; it goes the same for the semi-final and final if India reach it.

The tickets for the World Cup 2023 are expected to go online on August 10 and fans can pre-book it from BookMyShow and Paytm.

The India vs Pakistan World Cup match has been preponed to October 14 from October 15 due because Oct 15th is the first day of the Navratri festival in Gujarat and the police said they couldn’t offer enough security for that day.

This also meant that Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka, originally scheduled for October 12 in Hyderabad, has been pre-poned to October 10, the venue being the same.
