Rumors about The Venture Bros. being removed from Max have been debunked after the show’s creator is blindsided on social media. The Venture Bros. has the distinction of being one of Adult Swim’s longest-running series, with its first season airing in 2004. The series, an action comedy that follows the lives of the titular Venture family, has recently returned with a sequel titled The Venture Bros: Radiant is the blood of the baboon heart.

Publick responded to a screenshot claiming The Venture Bros. would leave Max on August 12 and tweeted: “Um… WHAT?” However, Screen Rant has since confirmed that with Warner Bros. Discovery Venture Bros. don’t leave Max in August. WBD added that there is no scheduled end date for them to share.

Warner Bros. Earlier removal of animated shows

Led by Warner Bros. Discovery’s handling of animation has made headlines and sparked debate. Cartoon Network Studios, the movie and television production company that helped create shows like Dexter’s laboratory, Johnny BravoAnd The Powerpuff Girls, merged with sister studio Warner Bros. Animation. This came after a large number of animated titles were removed from what was then called HBO Max.

The moves include titles like Infinite train, Close enough, OK KO! Let’s be heroes, Victor and Valentino. These titles are available for purchase or have resurfaced on other platforms, but it marked a marked shift away from animation. This came on the heels of several live action series such as West world And The Neverswhich is also removed, indicating that even HBO originals were not safe.
