Virat Kohli Is Getting Trolled On Twitter For A Very Strange Reason-TGN
India will play their 200th T20I match on Thursday when they take on the West Indies in the first T20I of the 5-match series in Trinidad. India will become only the second team in history to have played 200 T20Is, after Pakistan.
However, India will be without their star man Virat Kohli, who is currently the leading T20I run-scorer in the world having amassed 4008 runs at an average of 52 with 37 fifties and 1 century.
Virat Kohli is on his way back to India as he, along with Rohit Sharma are rested from the 5-T20I series against the West Indies. The pair is also rested along with most members of the ODI setup from the 3 T20Is against Ireland later this month to be fresh and prepare for the Asia Cup 2023 which will start on August 30.
Virat Kohli gets trolled by fans for using a charter private plane
On Thursday, Virat Kohli set on a private chartered plane to return back to India. The Air Charter Services airlines provided him with a Global air charter private plane for his travel back to home from the West Indies. The cost of this private plane is reported to be around $10 million.
Meanwhile, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja, etc who were in the ODI squad and not part of the T20Is returned together.
This didn’t settle right with a number of fans as they trolled and criticized the 34-year-old Kohli for using a private plane, pointing out his hypocrisy and double standards for lecturing on air pollution, global warming, and other environmental pollutions at various points in the past few years, while he himself travels in a private plane that is a major hazard to the environment.

Talking about his West Indies tour, Virat Kohli cracked a fifty and a century in the 2-Test series. But he didn’t face a single ball in ODI series. Kohli didn’t come out to bat in the first ODI – he was demoted in the order to number 8 to give others a chance, while he and Rohit both rested from the next two ODIs.
