Having sat on the bench for the entire 3-ODI series against the West Indies, Yuzvendra Chahal had a significant impact on the first T20I as soon as he came on to bowl by taking two wickets in a space of only 3 balls.

The 33-year-old leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who is India’s leading T20I wicket-taker and the top wicket-taker in the IPL history, hasn’t had the best of the faith from Team India’s management in the past three years, having missed out playing a single game in the last two T20 World Cups.

In a space of just three balls, Yuzvendra Chahal had both the openers packing and two new batters at the crease, although Nicholas Pooran smashed 2 sixes and 2 fours in the next 6 balls he faced off Chahal and Axar.
